I was drawn to this post because of the word scaffold. My son-in-law took a job as a scaffolder a few years ago. TBH, I'd never thought much about the trade before. But it turns out there's way more to it than I imagined. Number one, he gets to go to all kinds of interesting places. And number two, this scaffolding business is not for dummies. It takes a certain kind of mind to figure out how to put it together and take it apart safely. Really cool. And I love the other definitions of the words.

My hubby convinced ME that we need to own a scaffold. The thing is pretty darn useful! And it's good storage space when it's not being used for its original purpose. Medical and food producing scaffolds sound a lot cooler, though.

When I first arrived at RHS, I had to do tech for the musical Guys and Dolls. The entire set was scaffolding. I was clueless!

Well, it IS bonkers!!

Despite the obvious temptation of option 5 I went with the scaffolding option. I love animals and I also love to eat animals and like you I am looking forward to day when I can eat animals without eating animals.

I also found today's writing to be a bit disjointed.

Our neighbors recently painted their 3-story house, and I noticed scaffolding set up at one point. I never saw anybody on the scaffolding. The neighbor is a fireman and seems to have had no qualms about climbing tall ladders and such to get the job done himself.

A different neighbor gave us a big piece of fresh salmon caught just a couple of days before their return home. It was the best salmon I've had in a long time. It's not often you get to eat salmon that hasn't been frozen and shipped some distance. We had to freeze half of it, the piece was so large. I bet it will still be better than the best store bought one can get.

This article seemed to go in way too many directions for my taste.

My only comment is to share that the medical scaffold story hit close to home. One of my closest childhood gal pals has just had successful stem cell therapy to counteract her reoccurrence of a cancer. She’s still not able to drive and her immune system isn’t ready to join us for our monthly lunch get together of friends from the 1950-60s, but I look forward to that happening in the coming months. So thanks from me to scaffolding!
