Theoretically I do the same, but I can’t help myself from writing up until the last possible moment.

Thanks for commenting! I love that different ways work for different people and hopefully it is always fun.

I've never been a deadline person. Once I proof them on Grammarly I generally leave them alone. The only exception is if I am referencing someone I send them drafts early for comment. I just checked and I have my next three posts already scheduled and a handful of drafts in various forms of complete. I think we all have to find a style that fits our personality and brings us joy (or serenity)

MANY, MANY years ago I managed large software integration projects. I was a stickler for not letting people submit changes after the deadlines. We had a reasonable way to make emergency changes and many people just wanted to avoid the extra paperwork. The most fun projects were ALWAYS when the team was a wide array of personalities and we figured out how to work together.

Welcome to the Monday-post club! 😀 it’s a much more manageable schedule in my opinion.

I’ll use the extra time to read more of the many new substacks I’ve recently subscribed to. So much good stuff out there!

I tend to write mine in advance and they sit in the can for a while. I expect that reducing to once a week will be even easier. It is nice with the weather changing as my hobbies and activities change so having more time will be great!
